What is the Wings Gala?
Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School is hosting the 6th annual fundraiser event, the Wings Gala. This year, the Wings Gala will be a fun and interactive virtual experience held on May 2, 2020. The event will include a Silent Auction, Paddle Raise, Games, Live Auction, Raffles, Pajama Jam Party and more!!!
This event is open to all: adults, children, school families, parishioners, grandparents and friends. Everyone can join the party, no "seat" required!
What is the timeline of Virtual Gala?
Online Silent Auction: Bidding opens on Tuesday, April 28 at 8:00 am and closes on Saturday, May 2 at 6:00 pm (MST).
Virtual Gala Program: Occurs on Saturday, May 2 beginning at 4:30 pm to allow for technology set-up, Happy Hour at 5:00 pm and virtual program to follow at 6:00 pm (MST).
What will the proceeds from the virtual Wings Gala support?
You are invited to partner with us as we raise money to help provide tuition assistance and scholarships to students in our community. In this past year alone, the Wings Gala has helped more than 20% of our student population receive aid to attend the school for this 2019-2020 school year. We thank you for your continued support.
In addition, this year a portion of funds will also be used to support teacher retention and teacher professional development.
Though circumstances have changed, the need to support our students and teachers remains. We appreciate your solidarity and steadfast support of Our Lady of Loreto Catholic School’s mission, students and faculty.
When can I bid in the Online Silent Auction?
The Online Auction will kick-off on Tuesday, April 28 at 8:00 am and close on Saturday, May 2 at 6:00 pm. Please register now to ensure you receive all the messages about bidding.
Can anyone participate in the Online Silent Auction and Live Event?
Yes! Everyone is invited to join in on the fun. Registration is FREE. Once you register, you will receive messages about how to login, bid online and join the live event. The auction includes baskets, treasures, entertainment and more. And, there is something for every price point.
The Wings Gala will be live-streamed via Zoom. Links to the Zoom room will be sent out to your registered e-mail account. Please login for the event on Saturday, May 2 at 4:30 pm to check your sound and video capabilities, stay for the Happy Hour and enjoy the program.
What items will be included in the online bidding site?
The bidding site will include all items that were intended to be in the in person silent auction. You can also get an early start on Live Auction bidding, paddle raises and “Sending Your Teacher Packing”.
How will I get my winning bid items after the Wings Gala?
In the interest of public safety and health, a pick-up date will be determined after the “Stay at Home” order in Colorado has been lifted. We will contact all buyers as soon as the date has been finalized.
When is the Wings Gala?
The Wings Gala virtual live-streaming event will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 5:00 pm. Feel free to login early at 4:30 pm to ensure your technology is working. Happy Hour starts at 5:00 pm and the Virtual program begins at 6:00 pm (MST).
Silent Auction online bidding will begin Tuesday, April 28 at 8:00 am and conclude on Saturday, May 2 at 6:00 pm (MST).
How can I give to the Wings Gala Paddle Raise?
The Wings Gala Paddle Raise will still take place this year as part the gala virtual program on Saturday, May 2. However, you can also donate directly through the online bidding program.

What if I already bought a ticket to the original Wings Gala?
Any ticket sales that have already been purchased will be converted to a 100% tax deductible donation toward Gala proceeds and will benefit our teachers at OLOL via teacher retention and professional development. If you would prefer a refund for your already purchased tickets instead, please contact ololwingsgala@gmail.com. Due to the change in format, we are not offering anymore traditional “ticket” sales.
